Abstract
A new technique for the reduction of peak to average power ratio (PAPR) in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems is presented. It is based on spreading the constellation symbols with Normalized Complex Hadamard Transform (NCHT). The proposed technique can achieve about 3 dB more reduction in PAPR compared to conventional OFDM
systems. The technique has been shown to be effective and has low complexity.
