Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is an emerging
technology that is playing a vital role by showing great promise
for a number of innovative applications both for mass public
and military. Sensing technology in combination of computing
power makes it more worthwhile for abundance future
applications. The inclusion of sensor technology also receives
various types of resource constraints, specially energy
resources. We are intent with this paper to investigate the key
energy routing related issues and challenges in wireless sensor
networks. We try to review proposed energy efficiency
mechanism for WSNs.
