Abstract

Pre-evacuation time is a critical phase in evacuation process. This phase takes a big part of total evacuation time, but by simplifying this process has made some computer simulation are far away from reality. A cognitive behavior model as a representation of the occupant responses and actions against emergency notification has built in our computer simulation. A survey in order to get some responses and experiences upon emergency situation has form the probability value of specified actions according to cognitive behavior model. To improve the evacuation planning, some evaluations of wasting time consumption and generous actions during evacuation have provided. © 2008 IEEE.
