Abstract

Wavelength, and code division multiple access (WCDMA) scheme employs both wavelength, and code concurrency. To increase the number of users supported by the network, code sharing is incorporated by using contention resolution protocols like ALOHA, and slotted ALOHA. Effect of code sharing on the network delay, and throughput performance has been analyzed.
