Abstract

We explored advancements in robot-assisted mobility systems and the impact of transportation revolutions. Current developments highlight technological breakthroughs in robotics and related transportation domains, including autonomous vehicles, last-mile delivery, and public transportation. We addressed ethical considerations, regulatory frameworks, and societal acceptance challenges while examining future developments like humanrobot collaboration and the role of artificial intelligence in traffic flow optimization. By providing valuable insights into the transformative potential of robot-assisted mobility systems, the study serves as a resource for researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals involved in shaping the future of transportation. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2023.
