Abstract

The Paleozoic limestone of Kinta Valley formed a narrow deformed strip between
the Late Triassic-Early Jurassic batholiths of the northern Peninsular Malaysia. Because of
the advanced stage of karstification, it is difficult to understand the deformation events that
affected the limestone.
