Abstract

In sustaining and being competitive in business area, sales and financial is one of the core sector to be managed. Future prediction of sales growth, profit-making opportunities and staff performance tracking are some of the key areas to gain competitive advantages. This study aims at producing a comprehensive sales and financial management framework to be incorporated by organizations with the capabilities to monitor, preserve information and manipulate data into meaningful information and later help in decision making. The nature of this study is very preliminary in nature, yet the framework developed is hoped to be extended into real life implementation at a later stage. The methodology used in this study includes research on data mining topic, data collection, analysis and consolidation. The overall outcome of this study anticipated for the framework and real implementation to be leveraged on and could then be a helpful mechanism for sales and financial organization to maintain and operate their current practices and revolve the input to meaningful knowledge for their future sustainability. © 2008 IEEE.
